Following the NHL and the established current rules of the HBHL, the winner of the 2011 Entry Draft lottery was the Anahaim Ducks (8th worst team in the HBHL), corresponding to the winner of the NHL Entry Draft being the New Jersey Devils (8th worst team in the NHL).

The Ducks moved up 4 spots in Entry Draft and will select 4th overall.
