The HBHL added this award in 2020, in memory of Tommy Nilsen, General Manager of the Calgary Flames. As a member of the HBHL,
Tommy participated in huge trades, made pushes in the playoffs, but above all was a positive and enjoyable part of the
league family. He will be missed.
